Donations to the Library
The Supreme Court Library collects valuable historical materials for their systematic management, preservation, and exhibition, as well as compiling and researching judicial history. Any donation of valuable materials relating to judicial history, whether owned by an individual or institution, is duly appreciated and will be well received.

How donated material is processed
Materials selected as having historical value based on the evaluation by the Judicial History Material Selection Committee will be registered, exhibited in the Exhibition Hall of Judicial History, and used in research and publication. Appropriate measures will be taken to assure proper preservation of the material depending on its received condition.
Compensation to donor
A souvenir or plaque of appreciation will be presented to donors.
Main items for donation
Judge's robes, identification cards and documents, letters of appointment, signature stamps, official seals, judgment drafts, written judgments, trial records, ancient documents relating to trials and courts, ancient legal publications, photographs, etc.
