As a central library of the judiciary and a national library for the study of law, the Supreme Court Library of Korea features an extensive collection of a broad range of legal information generated at home and abroad. The history of the Supreme Court Library dates back to the 1950s when it was first established to assist and support the Supreme Court’s work. It officially opened in 1989 as a unit of the Supreme Court.
