Legal Resource Exchange Program

Purpose

The purpose of the institutional exchange program is to promote the exchange of legal information with foreign institutions by mutually collecting and distributing publications such as academic journals, compilations of scholarly articles, and collections of court decisions (court reports).

  • Collection of Supreme Court Decisions
    • · Biannually
    • · Compilation of Supreme Court decisions, as selected by the Case Law Deliberation Committee
  • Commentaries on Supreme Court Decisions
    • · Biannually
    • · Publication of commentaries on the Supreme Court decisions and orders
  • Judicial Materials
    • · Biannually
    • · Compilation of scholarly articles by judges on a long-term overseas training, as well as articles published in specialized research interest groups on the Court’s intranet
  • Supreme Court Decisions in English
    • · Annually
    • · Major Supreme Court precedents are selected each year to be translated and published in English
  • Decisions of the Trial and Appellate Courts
    • · Every couple of years
    • · Select major judicial precedents from each year's cases and translate and publish them after supervision
  • Supreme Court Law Journal
    • · Biannually
    • · Select scholarly articles authored by judges originally published in the Supreme Court Law Review, as well as recent case digests, are translated into English
  • Supreme Court Decisions in Chinese
    • · Annually
    • · Selections are made from the Supreme Court Decisions in English, to be translated into Chinese for publication
  • Special Edition of Supreme Court en banc Decisions
    • · Every 5 years
    • · Compilation of Supreme Court en banc Decisions is published to give a unified interpretation of the law for the lower courts, as well as the legal academia
